Originally from Michigan, Ben’s interests in the subtropical climate and indigenous plant species are what drew him to South Florida. In 2006, Ben received a Bachelor of Landscape Architecture from Michigan State University, where he was a member of the Honors College, and also studied abroad in Europe. He began his professional career in Miami shortly after graduation. He became a Registered Landscape Architect in 2011, is licensed in Florida, and is also a LEED Accredited Professional.

As Managing Principal, Ben is responsible for maintaining the firm’s design excellence through the life of projects by leading his team in the production of high quality deliverables and overseeing the implementation of the built work.

Ben has led teams through design and construction documentation on numerous residential estates, multi-family residential, and hospitality projects throughout South Florida and the Caribbean. He enjoys creating beautiful and functional solutions between the built and natural environment.
