Luis Padron

Design Principal / Architect

Luis was born in Caracas, Venezuela and raised in Miami. Throughout his childhood, he always gravitated towards expressing himself through the arts including drawing, painting, photography, and music. He was introduced to architecture in high school where he attended Design & Architecture Senior High School in Miami’s Design District. From this experience at a young age, he made a lifelong commitment to positively impact the built and natural environment through his design talent. He went on to receive a Bachelor of Design in Architecture from the University of Florida and a Master of Architecture from Columbia University in New York City.

Before joining RJI, Luis lived in New York for 20 years and worked as a lead design architect for an international firm. His designs aim to find harmony between people, buildings, and nature. Integrating sustainable solutions while elevating the human condition are at the forefront of Luis’ work.
